APOSTLE KATONGOLE PAUL

 MY PROFILE
My names are Apostle Katongole Paul.
I was born on 4th December 1974 in a village called Kitegombwa in Nangabo Sub County, in Kasangati County, Wakiso district, in the country of Uganda (east Africa)

My life
My mother had two children, I and my brother. She was a primary teacher but with the little money, she managed to cater for us only by herself. Our father was a drunkard and womanizer who never cared for the family at all. Eventually, my mother divorced and decided to stay alone with her two children. I never shared my father’s love at all from my childhood until I grew up.
Later my mother received salvation and became a born again Christian. She gained faith in Jesus Christ and put all her life in serving Christ by preaching the gospel from door to door, under Outreach Ministry. My mother had real faith in Jesus Christ because I remember one day when I was shocked at the great things that God does.
It so happened that we wished to eat fish for we had taken long without testing fish for our source.
My mother that day was fasting, and when I told her about my desire for fish, she told me that God can provide. She told me to bring the source pans which we use for preparing our food and prophesized on it saying that it must cook food and bananas. On hearing those words from my mother, I started wondering where those things would come from, for we had no money. Time went on but I never saw mother going out to look for food and fish in town because we were staying in Makindye, one of the suburbs of Kampala city, where such things could not be got around except in the big markets of Kampala. By evening time, my mother’s friend came in with a package of bananas and a big piece of fish. I received her with great joy.
The visitor also stated what really happened to her as she was coming. “As I was coming, I passed via the market place and felt that I should buy food for my friend.” Since then my faith grew up and I realized that God does mighty things for those who trust Him. In 1993 at the age of 19 years, I decided to receive salvation. I confessed my life to Jesus Christ because I had been following my mother’s religion just but when I had not confessed yet. The Bible says in Romans 10: 9 “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is the lord and believe in your heart that Jesus died and resurrected from the dead, you will be saved”.
At 19 years on 4th July 1993 when I confessed is the very day I got the vision when God was speaking to me through the book of Jeremiah 1: 4-17 through the word of God as quoted here in the book of Jeremiah, I joined the church ministry called Maule Christian fellowship and I was chosen to serve there as one of the ministers under pastor Mululu Benerd.
I served under Pastor Mululu Benerd until I started my Ministry in 1997, which I named Global Deliverance Ministry at Kasangati and I was 23 years old by then. After starting my own ministry, I got another vision through the word of God quoted in Jeremiah 1:10 which says, “Today, I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. You are to build others and plant them.”
I katongole Paul has always responded to this calling by the Almighty God.
As God has sent us to break and uproot all the hinderances in spreading the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, I have managed to reach different nations around Africa. God has given me favor and brought other people to join me into this vision in such a way that we have managed to organize crusades and seminars in different parts of the country Uganda. This process of the outreach evangelism has enabled us to start churches and plant them in various parts of Uganda. So far nine churches have been started in the following places; Kasangati, Seeta, Gulu, Lira, Mbale and four churches on Buvuma Island.
I pray to God the almighty to bless our Ministry for better achievement and prosperity in God’s works, serving his people. Amen.
